Memorandum of Understanding between Marymount University and three Hungarian higher education institutions from abroad

The Memorandum has been signed by dr. György Juhász, rector of János Selye University, dr. László Dávid, rector of Sapientia University and dr. Gyula Fodor, vice-rector of Ferenc Rákóczi II. Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education, as well as dr. Irma Becerra, president of Marymount University.

The meeting between the leaders of Marymount catholic university from Arlington, USA, and the three Hungarian higher education institutions functioning outside Hungary took place in Budapest at the invitation of dr. Katalin Szili, the Prime Minister’s Commissioner and former president of the Hungarian Parliament, where they signed the Memorandum of Understanding the collaboration of the institutions they represent.

The Memorandum has been signed by dr. György Juhász, rector of János Selye University, dr. László Dávid, rector of Sapientia University and dr. Gyula Fodor, vice-rector of Ferenc Rákóczi II. Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education, as well as dr. Irma Becerra, president of Marymount University.

In addition to better understanding of the culture and history in the Carpathian Basin, the aim of this memorandum is to facilitate collaboration in the field of modern sciences, and thereby ensure grants and significant research opportunities for academic tutors and students.
