The success of our former students at the 2020 International Documentary Film Festival in Budapest

Réka Ugron won the special prize for a documentary about single mothers in Dobrogea, while László Barna's documentary, Divine Hand was screened out of the competition.

Réka Ugron received a special award

Réka Ugron graduated from the Cinematography, photography, media bachelor program in 2014 and participated in the Budapest Film Festival (BIDF) with the film, My Son, Iulian. The film was made in the master's degree at the University of Theater and Cinematographic Art in Budapest. The film also won the award of Filmtett online magazine, Filmgalopp in October 2019.

László Barna's film

In the BIDF László Barna's documentary, Divine Hand was screened out of the competition. The 71-minute documentary features the famous Transylvanian violinist, of Roma origin, Csángáló, who is suffering from Parkinson's disease.
